We assess, treat and provide advice and education to patients, their families and their carers if you have an injury, illness or disability. We will work with you to manage pain, help your recovery, maximise independence and prevent you from unnecessarily having to attend or come back into hospital.
We know how important it is for you to keep as much independence as possible, whether that means being able to manage your activities of daily living, go to work or get back in your own home. We will do our best to help you.


Physiotherapist helps the patient to relive the pain to maintain joint mobility and maintain the tone of the muscles with the help of Electrical equipments. The department is equipped with short wave diathermy, cervical traction, ultrasound therapy, muscle stimulation, interferential therapy and wax bath, etc.

1.Vertitrac Traction:
-Highly specialised traction unit from Israel.
-One of its kind modern treatment theories by treating back pain non-invasively with ambulatory traction device that encourage the performance of active rehabilitation as an integral part of our treatment protocol which emphasizes- "Traction on the Move ".


Exercise Therapy:

Here, the physiotherapist helps the patient to get near normal functions with the help of exercises'. The department helps treating all types of cases like:

  • Orthopedic Cases: Fractures, Spondilytis, Arthritis of knees , Rheumatic arthritis,etc.

  • Neuro Case: Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, etc.

  • Gynaec cases: Antenatal , Post natal, Pelvic floor strengthening exercises, etc.

  • Surgical cases rehabilitation.

  • Maxillo facial cases: Tmj pain, facial paralysis ( Bell's palsy).

  • Weight loss training.

  • Round the clock chest physiotherapy and exercise therapy is given to patients admitted in the Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, Paediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU. This is very important to avoid the chest complications and to maintain tones of muscle maintain range of motions of joints, as these patients are bedridden for a long period.
